The brief
Master Caution approached us to define interaction models, user task flows, and UI designs for both the mobile and cloud apps.
The mobile app, which is connected to a vest with nodes, is meant to monitor the patient's ECG while at home. The goal here was to communicate all vitals and the working of nodes in an easy-to-understand manner.
The web app communicates the vitals from the mobile app to caregivers, technicians, and hospitals. The web app also provides access to each patient and their history.
What we did
We provided user scenarios, end-to-end experiences for each app, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholders.
Certain interactions, such as the SOS feature, were designed to be difficult to access so the patients don't accidentally send out an SOS for ambulances.
